A Personal Coach has eight main roles, according to Ann Skidmore. They are :

identifying your needs, values and goals

set and achieve your goals;

do more than you would if left to your own devices;
● To help you achieve
results quickly by gaining clarity about what success means to you;
● To give you the
support required to motivate you;
● To provide an
objective viewpoint, not coloured by friendship, rivalry or jealousy;
● To listen and
encourage to help you realise your goals.
